Gilakas’la, As we come to the end of another school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible growth and connection we’ve experienced together as a school community. Our students have shown amazing progress-not only in academics like reading, writing, and math, but also in their social and emotional development. They’ve learned how to support one another, speak with confidence, and approach challenges with resilience. We are proud of their efforts and achievements. Cultural learning has remained a central part of our journey. This year, students took part in land-based learning, language revitalization, traditional teachings, and community ceremonies. These experiences have helped strengthen their sense of identity and pride in who they are. Our dedicated staff have worked with care, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility. Every teacher, support worker, and Elder has played a role in guiding and encouraging our students. Their commitment to each child’s success-academically, emotionally, and culturally-has been truly inspiring. For a mobile-friendly reader, click here.
