Happy New Year and welcome back to school! I hope everyone had a safe and healthy winter break. Our staff has returned refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to jump right back into our second term. The first term saw us getting back to more of our typical school calendar...

Gilakas'la With the arrival of the snow, winter seems to have arrived. However, it's still hard to believe that it's December already and we are only a couple of weeks of school left before the Christmas break!

October has come and gone and so has our beautiful weather! The rainy season is well upon us and winter seems to have arrived early.
What a great first couple of days. So great to see so many smiles and hearing the classrooms full of learning, laughter and chatting. Thank you to the Galgapothia Family Services Society for hosting our return to school lunch and providing backpacks for our students. We are looking forward to a wonderful year!

📚✨ Welcome Back! ✨📚
We are excited to kick off the 2025–2026 school year tomorrow at Gwa'sala-'Nakwaxda'xw School for our students in Grades 1–7!
👉 Please note it will be an early dismissal at 11:00 am.
👉 After dismissal, we invite all parents and families to join us for a Welcome Back BBQ 🌭🍔.
✨ Pre-K and Kindergarten students will begin their school transitions next week.
📌 Don’t forget to check out the September calendar, weekly menu, and bus schedule in the attachments.
We look forward to seeing everyone and starting another amazing year of learning and growth together!

Is the red highlights events parents can attend? Or only when it says family in the calendar.
