We have finished the year off in true Gwa'sala-'Nakwaxda'xw School style! These past few weeks have been extremely busy but rewarding. It has been so nice to reconnect with our families and community and get back to some pre-COVID 19 events and activities.

It was a beautiful day for our Grade 5–7 students who danced at the ‘Na̱mwyut gathering earlier this week. Seeing them in their regalia—proud and a little nervous—was really special.
This was a dłuwi̱lax̱a program with masked dances, which carries an important level of responsibility. Our young cultural leaders stepped forward with respect and commitment.
